The renowned scientist of our time Stephan Hawking has given a timely warning to the scientific community that the complication and sophistication in human creative technical adventure in robotics may soon be a bane than a boon and that man may soon be enslaved by the machines that he invented. The rate at which technology is developing one may question the end such development may lead to. There is no harm in making use of technology to facilitate human activities, but if that technology is to decide for itself, based on the various inputs given by many individuals one may risk himself in dealing with it.
Robots are taking human forms and are perfected in minute details that even many Japanese are tying knots with robotic "women" (gynoids) to avoid getting married. Imagine what will happen to a generation of people marrying to robots and trying to gratify their sexual needs and craving through such perversions? If this trend continues the population of Japan will decline and will come a time one will find that there no son (oops I missed out daughters) rising from the land of the rising sun.Very soon at the rate the world is progressing human being will be the target of few evil geniuses who control such humanoids and may end up running the entire factory with them and no man will be employed or even making use of these humanoids in military usage. Is the Muslim world ready to face such enemy? Is Hawking right in his cautions, or is he discouraging freedom in pursuing technological innovation? Should we set limits on what we invent? What is your opinion?
